Jessi Broom

About Jessi

Jessi believes healing begins in a space where you feel safe and supported enough to do meaningful trauma work. She takes an integrative, client-centered approach with individuals that is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique story. She balances compassion with space for accountability, walking alongside clients through the deep, sometimes uncomfortable work that leads to lasting change.

When Jessi is not in the therapy room, she can often be found buried in a book, enjoying her favorite foods, or at the beach with her husband and their two dachshunds. She believes in practicing what she teaches and can occasionally be spotted dancing in the rain, staying grounded and connected in the same ways she encourages her clients to do.

Therapeutic Focus

Jessi works with individuals navigating complex trauma, including complex PTSD, attachment wounds, and personality-related patterns such as borderline personality organization. She also supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

Her work commonly addresses emotional dysregulation, people-pleasing, perfectionism, identity exploration, and high-functioning anxiety. She also supports individuals who feel stuck in relational patterns or struggle with self-worth, grounding, or emotional safety within themselves or relationships.

What It Looks Like for the Client

Therapy with Jessi is both depth-oriented and practical. Sessions often involve slowing down to process and rework traumatic experiences through EMDR, while also building concrete tools for managing emotions, relationships, and daily stressors. Her work is grounded in EMDR as the primary approach to trauma processing, supported by a somatic, nervous-system informed lens to promote regulation, stabilization, and a growing sense of internal safety throughout treatment.

You can expect a collaborative process that honors your pace and supports meaningful change over time. Clients often describe Jessi as grounding, compassionate, and easy to talk to, while also offering structure, clarity, and practical tools for growth.
